SOGAFRIC GROUP MEASURES

MEASURES IMPLEMENTED BY THE SOGAFRIC GROUP

The SOGAFRIC Group has put in place a set of measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. These provisions contain, on the one hand, all government measures that are updated through official communications and, on the other, practical awareness-raising measures for our employees and customers. The information of the barrier gestures was displayed in all the workplaces of the SOGAFRIC Group companies, in particular :

To ensure that the barrier measures are understood and applied, the Group has implemented an awareness-information campaign aimed at all employees and permanent subcontractors. This campaign, piloted by all our QHSEs, was led by the Group’s medical consultant with the effective participation of our employees.

The SOGAFRIC Group also ensured the supply of protective equipment for its employees. Thus, all SOGAFRIC Group employees were provided with two fabric masks, with washing recommendations (in addition to the masks, visors, gloves and others already made available to employees according to their exposure).

As part of the monitoring of health at work, any case that appears suspicious (presenting symptoms of fever, cough, breathing difficulties, etc.) must be reported immediately to the heads of departments or to the General Management of each company. Thermo lasers have been made available to each site.

SOGAFRIC Group companies regularly disinfect workspaces and reception areas. Temperature measurement by Thermoflash and hand disinfection upon entering our companies is mandatory.

In accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Employment, Civil Service, Labor and Vocational Training, responsible for Social Dialogue, the SOGAFRIC Group has set up rotational work and teleworking for positions where possible.

MANAGEMENT OF SUBCONTRACTORS

All the measures adopted at the Libreville bases are applicable in all our branches.

Special instructions have been given to security guards at all our bases and agencies, namely :

• Awareness and information on barrier gestures ;
• Provision of security guards posted in front of buildings open to the public, equipped with a sprayer with hydro-alcoholic liquid for hand disinfection ;
• Equipment of certain potentially more exposed personnel (gloves, masks, visors, etc.).

CUSTOMER WELCOME

Temperature measurement by Thermoflash and hand disinfection at the entrance to our companies is mandatory for our customers.

The latter are invited to enter in groups of 10 in our structures and bands are affixed to the ground to respect the distance.

SOGAFRIC Group companies reserve the right to refuse entry to any person who does not comply with the rules laid down. Likewise, anyone with suspicious symptoms (excessive sweating, coughing, temperature above normal, etc.) may be refused access to our societies. By posting, employees and any other person visiting our premises are reminded of the measures to be followed in the presence of a suspected case of a client or employee. The emergency numbers as well as the medical training centers authorized to take care of suspicious patients are also posted wherever necessary on all our sites.

SAWARENESS OF GOVERNMENT MEASURES REGARDING LIMITATIONS AND PROHIBITIONS.

All government measures relating to restrictions and prohibitions are in effect in all of our societies. Communication by posting of other measures was also made on all our bases and agencies such as :

– Gatherings of more than 10 people are strictly prohibited;

– Wearing a mask remains compulsory in public places, markets, shops and transport;

– Physical distancing remains essential in all places and in all circumstances;
