On the occasion of SODIM TP's 50th anniversary, the workshop team at SODIM TP completed a spectacular restoration of one of the first ISUZU TROOPER vehicles to arrive in Gabon, an iconic vehicle from the 1980s. This project was a true technical feat and a remarkable tribute to SODIM TP's history. The restoration process required meticulous work, starting with the search and acquisition of the vehicle. Once in the SODIM TP workshops, the engine was carefully disassembled to order the necessary parts for its restoration.
Next, each exterior and interior element was dismantled to allow for sandblasting of the body. Special attention was given to the suspension, with the complete disassembly of the rear suspension, followed by the reassembly and attachment of the body to the chassis. The work continued with the installation of new upholstery and accessories, as well as the meticulous sanding and preparation of the body for the final paint. This project was successfully completed thanks to the expertise and dedication of the entire SODIM TP Workshop team. The final result is a remarkable piece of work, demonstrating the exceptional know-how and professionalism of SODIM TP. A big congratulations to everyone for this fabulous achievement, which perfectly illustrates their commitment and passion.
